Founded in Venice Beach, California by Wee Man, this taco shop is taking over as the next big franchise. With great ingredients, healthy recipes and something accessible and easy for everyone, their food is becoming the next big thing.
There were a couple different challenges in developing a strategy. They had first entered the market with the perception of a masculine, skater brand. They wanted to shake this off to show how their restaurant had a much broader audience appeal. They were for everyone – from the office receptionist to the average teenager to the construction worker. Lastly, the new owners took over the franchise three years ago to reverse a negative reputation developed by poor customer service and careless business practices conducted by the previous management team. So far, they were succeeding with their operations but online, the badly perceived brand image wouldn’t go away.
